And moved on to the university of virginia where he studied under gary gallagher. Book is entitled why confederates fought family and nation in civil war virginia. His most recent book, published by harvard, titled calculus of violence how americans fought the civil war. Just again published in 2018. Aaron, lsu is a great place for him.
