[applause] our special booktv programming begins with former governor howard dean on his book, howard dean srescription for real health care refor this is a little less than an hour. i thought i would just talk for ten minutes, not long time because i want to hear from you. i do tend to give long answers so when u.s. me question about something i have not talked about yet he may get a longer answer then you would like. i wrote the book because i thought there is the desperate need for a book that explains health care in plain english. this is an incredibly arcane subject. it is clearly the most complicated domestic policy we have. it is very hard to understand and it is usually put together by people who really know a lot but have trouble communicating in spite, or communicating in a straightforward way because it is so incredibly complex. i have to wond ....
