The Salvation Army raised more than $192,000 through its red Kettle Campaign, mailed-in donations and online support, exceeding its goal of $151,000. Maj. Judy Lowder, corps officer, said the Salvation Army expected a possible 50% decrease in donations as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. “We are thankful to all those who supported the campaign and for enabling The Salvation Army to continue its mission of meeting human needs,” she said. A friendly competition between participating service clubs helped raise funds, she said. ....
