Stopping crime in San Francisco starts with making some big changes. The mayor says that she wants to give San Francisco Police Officers the ability again to crack down on crime like car break ins. We are taking something to the ballot. Were going around the board of supervisors. Were going around the Police Commission on were going straight to the people of San Francisco ballot measure safer, San Francisco would expand sfpds pursuit policy, allowing officers to chase suspects in some nonviolent crimes like the one you see here. It would give Police Access to new Surveillance Technology and it would reduce the amount of paperwork keeping officers off the streets so we dont keep sending officers back to their desks when they can be out on the streets.
