As part of the checks and balances as part of the country. when i see a president who is really trying to stir up hatred against the media, to undercut its role, then that seems to me an entirely different line of attack than media critiques that the other presidents have engaged in. you mentioned that the president lashes out against things he thinks constrain him. ie, the courts and the media. but it s a perspective issue. we shouldn t be thinking of either courts or media in america at least as being constraining. yeah. it s a set of checks and balances, a system. and it becomes particularly important when you get a president who tends to who wants to test those rules. and, you know, like the new york times and the washington post have scrutinized president trump s statements. the washington post came out yesterday and said he had made 1,000 more than 1,000 lies since taking office. now, that s obviously upsetting ....
