The annual series of community events in honor of Penn State faculty and staff members who serve or have served in the U.S. armed forces will include a Veterans Day Ceremony, 5K charity race and the first Military Appreciation Week Concert in partnership with The State Theatre. Most events are free and open to the public, including veterans and service members.
Due to weather, the University's Veterans Day ceremony will now take place in Alumni Hall in the HUB Robeson Center on Friday, Nov. 11. Penn State is hosting the annual event to honor the sacrifice and service of veterans of the U.S. armed forces.
