Peak Downs Highway reopened after truck roll in Walkerston

UPDATE: 2PM: Peak Downs Highway has reopened after a crash in Walkerston’s main street brought traffic to a halt. Emergency crews were called to the scene after a truck rolled, nearly hitting a school and a Woolworths store just before 11am. The driver was taken to Mackay Base Hospital in a stable condition. A police spokeswoman said all lanes were open at 1.05pm.
