The Reserve Bank's FAQs (frequently asked questions) brought some clarity over continuation of Paytm QR, Card machine and Soundbox services beyond the March 15.
Paytm target price: Bernstein said it would have liked to see more details such as what merchants need to do to continue using these payment solutions, if any (a re-KYC).
This comes on the back of a recent instruction from the RBI asking these companies to halt usage of these payment instruments for business payments made to vendors, suppliers and other such entities. Following this directive, card networks have informed payment companies to stop these services to their clients.
