Kevin temperatures today starting off from the teens to lower and mid 20s. Only continuing to fall from here as we go through the afternoon thanks to an northerly breeze continuing to bring in the colder air. Cloudy to partly cloudy skies. Theres the risk of a couple of light snow showers or flurries through the day. We arent expecting anything to accumulate temperatures in the teens to lower range of the 20s with a pretty good breeze. Wont last too long. Good morning. Im emily riemer. Randy and im randy price with cindy fitzgibbon. Its going to be cold for a little bit. Cindy you need cold to make snow. We have plenty of that to go around the next couple of days. You dont want to dress for what youre seeing this morning out the door because these are probably going to be our High Temperatures for the day. Right now its not so bad. Its in the upper 20s to around the freezing mark. And the winds arent all that active just yet but they are shifting around to the north and that is going to start to pull in much colder air. There are a couple of flurries out in the western part of the state right now. But these are associated with an arctic frontal boundary that is moving on through. This is the leading edge of much colder air. Sing Single Digits near zero to our north. Thats what is coming in as the day wears ....

Emily its about time i guess. Cindy it is is january after all. That cold is is coming in with a couple of flurries in a few spots this morning. Kids are going to want the heavy coats at the bus stop this morning not so much for what its like out there now but getting off the bus this afternoon wind chills down in the teens. Temperatures dropping as the day wears on. Right now its 27 in worcester. 31 in boston. Were actually above freezing on the cape for moment. You can see that wind now shifting around to the north, north of the pike. Its more northwesterly south of the pike so that is our frontal boundary. And along the front you can see a couple of flurries getting reports of a few flakes out in marlborough, framingham. Not going to amount to anything. Theyre just flying around through the air here but ....
