Reporter tonight bay area environmentalists are watching very closely because there are trains carrying the same highly flammable fracked oil that was on those trains through richmond on their way to martinez. The blood is on the hands of the Rail Companies because their rails are unsafe. Reporter andre soto is the richmond organizer for communities for a better environment. He says not only are the rails unsafe, the cars are, too. Theyre running this stuff, this explosive bakken crude in train cars designed to carry high fructose corn syrup. Reporter soto points to what happened in the Feather River canyon back in november. This train derailed on the same tracks where trains transport 1 million gallons of bakken a week.
