Patanjali Foods shares declined 4.05 per cent to hit a low of Rs 1,500.05 on BSE. Patanjali Ayurved owned 32.37 per cent stake in Patanjali Foods at the end of March quarter.
Patanjali Foods share price: Today's drop in the stock price came after the Supreme Court barred Patanjali Ayurved from publishing advertisements for its traditional ayurvedic medicines that claim to cure some diseases.
Shares of Patanjali Foods dipped 44.80 points, or 2.76 per cent lower at 1,577.90. Patanjali Foods has, however, ruled out any threat to its business operations from the adversarial observation by the Supreme Court.
Sectorally, buying was seen in realty, power, auto, healthcare and capital goods stocks while banks, telecom and FMCG stocks witnessed some selling pressure.
In the case of Wipro, Axis Securities said the IT stock has recently demonstrated a robust breakout above the neckline of the 'Inverted Head & Shoulders' pattern at Rs 444, accompanied by a strong bullish candle. This it said, indicates a positive bias.
