Residents of Lafayette neighborhood gather for Parti Gras

Since many Mardi Gras celebrations were canceled this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a Lafayette neighborhood decided to hold their own party this weekend - Parti Gras, that is.
The 2nd Annual Parti Gras started Saturday and will be held again on Sunday from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Held by the McComb-Veazey Neighborhood Coterie and several other organizations, the event allows residents the chance to listen to live music or shop from local vendors. Families can also pick up a Parti Gras Mambo bag, filled with Mardi Gras goodies and instructions on how to make your own mask. There will be prizes available for best mask. ....
