More than 1,000 firefighters are working to get a wildfire in napa county under control. The butts fire broke out yesterday afternoon in butts canyon just west of lake berryessa. Governor jerry brown has secured a federal grant to help pay for the firefight. Right now, the fire has burned 3200 acres. Its only 30 contained. Already five structures have burned and 380 more are threatened, which means evacuations are in effect. There is a huge fog bank out there. The humidity is up. Thats good. I did hear some low clouds made it. They burned off. A lot of low 50s on the temperatures. South wind at napa. That makes sense. Two reports at pope valley. More of a westerly breeze or southerly breeze. Gusts 32 at travis. Even from sfo out to livermore, where we get more of a westerly breeze. We are looking at a commute where traffic is doing very well around the bay area. I want to show you the bay bridge its about a five minute drive time between oakland and San Francisco with no major delays across that span. San mateo bridge the same thing goes. Your drive time here on the san mateo bridge is about 15 minutes across. You can see traffic is moving along nicely. There are no major fog issues on the bridge.
