CSPAN2 Key Capitol Hill Hearings September 18, 2014

To work in america when the law says theyre not able to work, if they entered the country unlawfully. Until that happens, i have to say that every Senate Democrat is the president s partner in this scheme, as surely if they wrote the executive orders themselves. And surely as if they were sitting right next to the Interest Groups huddling with the white house aides to craft these orders. So i have a message today to all the special interests, the globe elites, the activists, the cynical votecounting politicians, plotters that are meeting in secret at the white house, and this message is this you dont get to sit in a room and rewrite the laws of this United States of america. No, sir. Congress writes the laws. You may not be used used to people telling you no, but im telling you no today. But its critical that our

Syria. The goal is not to see a massive mess on the map. But he thinks that we can make this a whole lot worse than it already is. In the next year he faces the withdrawal of the United States from afghanistan and he would like us to still be there. This is one area he was quite relieved that we were there. He liked the idea that we were bogged down because we may be there and some kind of way in which we would stay, not where we would be heading out like the soviet red army headed out a couple of decades previously. He he looks at syria and probably doesnt spend every day thinking about u. S. But he spent a lot of time looking at this in the kgb, studying what the u. S. Is up to. He does not think that they have thought up of anything thought of anything beneficial to russia. Activityin all of the in syria is to be restraining the United States from intervention. He does not k ....

The trip to moscow worries me because there are serious things happening in that relationship that would not have happened were it not for the absolute collapse of faith in the United States, and while there may be good things that can come out of it for the saudis to be off on their own, a lot of bad things can come out of that as well potentially. But that is the kind of uncertainty that we are dealing with in the system that i think has led to quite a bit of trouble. I agree in the first place that syria now takes on this huge importance in terms of trying to convince the iranians that we are serious. I think that operation is now going to need to be something that perhaps the president and his team did not think a couple of weeks ago it might have needed to be. It will now need to have real effects on syria and on other adversaries in the region, that they do not w ....
