Reporter right about here is where police say that elderly woman was crossing the street when a yellow suv was coming from sacramento street and made a left turn on to stockton. Hit her somewhere here in the crosswalk right over here earlier in the evening is where people who knew the woman lit candles in her memory. This is a yellow toyota suv that hit the pedestrian. The driver was arrested for suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and failing to yield to a pedestrian. The victim, an elderly woman, died at the scene.
