Dirtbikers on highway 101 in San Francisco on wednesday. A witness captured it on camera. Nbc bay areas krissy smith is live at the hospital where the driver is recovering. Thats right. We spoke with alex quintana. He says he suffered a broken nose and leg when he was attacked on the freeway. And none of it should have happened. He says he was trying to merge around the dirtbikers. Thats when things went horribly wrong. Of course i was afraid for my life. Reporter alex had surgery on his broken leg after an encounter with dirtbike riders in an atv doing stunts and blocking traffic on 101 in San Francisco on wednesday. He says he tried to drive around a rider slowly. For some reason he thought i was going to try to run flow him. And somehow that got relayed to his friends.
