A few days after the life of the Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State-led Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was extended for the umpteenth time, Senator Mohammed Sani Musa revved the engine of his campaign for the office of National Chairman of the party, a move he hitherto kept within his circle of close friends and political associates. Now, that it has become clear that the Caretaker committee is close to the end of its assignment, there should be no tip-toeing about his political aspiration.

The Niger Police Command on Wednesday said it arrested one Festus Okeke of Ishau village, for having unlawful sexual intercourse with four minors in Paikoro Local Government Area of the state.
Mr Adamu Usman, the State Commissioner of Police, who disclosed this in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), in Minna, on Wednesday, said police operatives attached to Kafin -Koro division arrested the suspect on April 17, at about 11.00 am.
Usman said the suspect lured four under-aged girls into his shop at Ishau village, during and after the Easter celebration, and raped them.
“The suspect had carnal knowledge of the two girls, while he fiddled with private parts of the other two girls with his finger. The victims are between the ages of 10 years and 13 years,” he said.

40-year-old man in police net for alleged rape, gross indecency with minors in Niger

A-40-year Festus Okeke is in police custody for allegedly raping two minors and engaged in gross indecency with two others in Kafin-koro, Paikoro Local Government Area of Niger State.
It was gathered the suspect lured the four girls into his shop at Ishau village during and after Easter celebration in the area.
Okeke was said to have had carnal knowledge with two of the girls and fiddled with private parts of two other girls with his fingers.
The victims are between the ages of 10 to 13 years.

Fourteen, 14, suspected internet fraudsters have been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, in Lagos State.
The Command said the suspects were arrested on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Westwood Estate, Badore, Ajah Lagos, following intelligence about their alleged involvement in computer-related fraud.
The suspects were identified as Abiodun Gbolahan Seidu, Joseph Aganaga Ndubuisi, Sodimu Olawale Sikirudeen, Ohaekim Christopher, Ambali Oluwaseyi Rahman, Chibuzor Ebubedike, Salvador Abduljabar and Omohogbo Donald Ede.
Others are: Thomas Obire Tobiloba, Olatunbosun Adeniyi Abiodun, Olugbemi Oluwatomigbeleke Eniola, Sanni Azeez Olayinka, Joseph Afenikhena Osaoman and Hamed Olayinka Olanrewaju.
The agency in a tweet further stated that it recoverd IPhones, Android devices, laptop computers, a MacBook Pro, hard disk drives and jewellery.
