The Bridge Fire has burned more than 400 acres of the Forest Hill Bridge and broke out yesterday. Evacuation orders lifted and auburn State Recreation Area remains closed. We have secured the lines and have crews working on strengthening and mopping up so they dont escape the containment lines. The fire was 15 contained last check. Tens of thousands of wildfire evacuees returning home to south lake tahoe. The Caldor Fire has burned 216,000 acres in El Dorado and amiador counties. That is 343 square miles and 44 contained.
