Nearby pier says it was around 6 30 this morning when he heard the lady swimmer start screaming for help. He recognized her as regulars out here in the park who swim out here on a daily basis, or at least a regular basis. She was able to swim to shore. The San Francisco Fire Department says one of their retired paramedic who also happened to be out here swimming was able to assist. Only have one job. Principals and the superintendent of the east Side Union High School District applaud the mou or memorandum of understanding. Its nice to have the clear policy between the police and the schools. Our students were paying the price. Because if they receive a citation where they shouldnt receive a citation, theyre now on the school to prison pipeline. And conversely it makes our officers and tag invites. Resource officers are Sworn Police Officers who work on campus on their days off. The new agreement involved every high school in san jose. 34 in all.
