And trying to get in there and repair a broken water main. It was quite a scene earlier tonight as students were stopped in their tracks by a river flowing the length of their campus. It went on like this for three and a half hours. It flooded the San Jose State University campus from one end to the other. Definitely did not expect to come back to this. I wasnt here when it blew. But its a mess. Reporter ankle deep and higher in many places. Campus Police Stopped students from crossing the flowing water as they tried to get back to their dorms. Its crazy. Its like pretty high up water too. Reporter the break happened on a San Jose Water Company owned water main about 4 15, between two of the campuss newest and largest dorms, raising concerns about getting to class in the morning.
