it all happened around 3:00 this afternoon in a business park along redwood creek north of 101 near the edge of the bay. debora villalon is live now at redwood city police headquarters with that one woman s narrow escape. debora? reporter: julie, police investigators are still putting this all together, but we know it was an a escalating case of domestic violence that came to a traumatic end. reporter: from sky fox the business park full of biotech firms, a quiet complex that turned chaotic just past 2:00. police say as the woman arrived at work she was confronted by her ex-husband violating a restraining order to stay away. she made a frantic 911 call while running for her life and trying to hide. there is a shot that s fired you could hear on the radio tape as the lady is giving the description of the clothing, the direction she s traveling and moving at the direction of our dispatchers to seek some kind of safety. reporter: there were two more shots when officers a

let s find out. thanks for joining us. i m kris sanchez. laura garcia-cannon is off. and i m sam brock. what a difference one week makes. today it s going to be raining on and off all day. especially during the morning commute. pockets of heavy rain. most of it has been south of the golden gate bridge and another round of rain moving into san francisco there is a special marine warning off the coast of santa cruz and that s going to move in within the next 25 minutes. seeing the pockets of the heavy rain moving in as well as we get a closer look right near cupertino and moving towards the north and east and it will bring in some very low visibility and torrential downpours. another heavy round of rain is moving in around 6:30, 6:40. it sounds like crews are there with an ambulance as you see the slow drive coming down towards stevenson boulevard. we ll track fremont. meanwhile, we have recovery for the speeds through oakland. this is southbound 880. there s been an issue
