Asylum RecordsThe Eagles are celebrating the 50th anniversary of their album Desperado this month, and they’ve just treated fans to remastered videos featuring performances of the classic title track, as well as "Tequila Sunrise."
Both clips are newly remastered in 4K and are performances from Farewell Tour I: Live From Melbourne, a double DVD that was filmed in 2004 and released in 2005. The release was the last live video featuring original member Glenn Frey, who died in 2016.
Desperado, released April 17, 1973, was the second album from the Eagles and went on to be certified double- Platinum by the RIAA. While the album’s title track became an Eagles classic, it was never actually released as a single. Instead the two singles from the album were “Tequila Sunrise” and “Outlaw Man.”
Google Maps(PITTSBURGH, Penn.) A school district in Pennsylvania is proposing starting classes later in the morning to improve the physical health and mental well-being of students.
Upper St. Clair School District a suburb of Pittsburgh would change the start times of its high schools, elementary schools and middle schools, if the plan is approved by the school board, Superintendent Dr. John Rozzo told ABC News.
Currently, high school students in the district begin classes at 7:30 a.m. ET. However, under the new start time, they would begin at 8:00 a.m. ET.
Because of transportation such as school buses being pushed back for older kids, elementary and middle school students would also get later start times with the former now beginning at 8:35 a.m. ET and the latter at 8:55 a.m. ET.
Rozzo said that the district had been studying the benefits of moving back school start times since the early 1990s, but it never got off the ground. However, it was re ....
WABC(NEW YORK) Four people, including an unlicensed teenage driver, were seriously injured when their car crashed head-on into a school bus in New York state on Wednesday, authorities said.
The incident occurred around 2:13 p.m. local time in Westchester County, in the area of Mount Kisco.
The New Castle Police Department said officers responded to a "head-on accident" involving a Yorktown Central School District bus and a 2016 Honda Accord driven by an unlicensed 16-year-old from Bedford Hills.
The preliminary investigation found that the driver of the Honda Accord "lost control while rounding a curve, crossed into oncoming traffic and struck the bus head-on," the New Castle Police Department said in a statement.
The driver and his three passengers were transported to Westchester Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, police said, who did not specify how many people were on board.
