Share HISD Board Hears Updates On New School Construction The Hillsboro Independent School District (HISD) Board of Trustees met in regular session Monday, May 10, and heard updates on the new elementary school campus. With 57 percent of the campus reported to be complete, Executive Director of Operations Raymond Nors said that the construction project is now primarily in the finishing stages. Nors added that there is an extensive amount of finishing work that needs to be done. He also said that the utility meter has been installed and the campus is now on permanent power. The budget for the project is $29,355,180 with $16,786,122 being completed or stored to date. ....
