There s also a degree of trepidation because this is just the first third of the trial. in a sense it was the least complicated part. reporter: you can see there are some mixed emotions here. obviously relief because of this verdict, but that death penalty phase is still looming large in the minds of jewish community here in pittsburgh. wolf? danny, the guilty verdict means the trial moves into that penalty phase. what are we expecting in the coming weeks? reporter: well, wolf, the death penalty phase is expected to kick off on june 26th. it s really interesting because in this guilt phase, the prosecution brought 60 witnesses. the defense called zero witnesses. they didn t even dispute that robert bauers was the man who shot and killed these worshippers. we re expecting to see more of a fight from the defense to try and save robert bauers life in ....
