Were seeing some of the showers moving through mostly the north bay and parts of the east bay. This hitormiss activity will be with us throughout today. Cloudy skies and some breezy winds. This weeks storm system continues to move through. As we go into the day. Maybe measuring the rainfall in a few hundreths of an inch and were seeing some of the showers moving through concord and also over towards britwood as well. Going into the rest of the day, well see some more of the showers as we go into this afternoon and into the evening. There may be some times where you see the rain coming down, and then you turn on the windshield wipers and before you know it its gone. Main moving in tomorrow, and it looks to bring at least measurable rain for the bay area, and it starts to move in during the evening as the winds pick up. The Toll Authority says if it, indeed, decides to open up the bay bridge in late september, they say the temporary fix is ready and would only take a few days. The longawaited opening of the new eastern span had been planned for labor day. Labor day has been the goal for two and a half years.
