Fresh hopes of a major economic boost from the State s ambitious climate plans are blowing in the wind on the Shannon Estuary as the ESB revealed a major new prospect of generating massive power off the Kerry coast.
The semi-state has revealed that it is looking at the potential of developing a massive offshore wind-farm on the Kerry/Clare coast that could ultimately land sufficient energy to the grid at Moneypoint to power up to three quarters of the nation s homes.
