Hoboken police officers rescued a woman who had fallen into the Hudson River on Feb. 6 after she climbed over a railing to get a better view of the city, according to the Hoboken Police Department.
At approximately 3:32 a.m., the department received a 9-1-1 call about a woman who fell into the Hudson River near Pier 13.
The 23-year-old from Berkley Heights was out with friends and her brother when they wanted to get a better view of New York City and take pictures.
The woman climbed over a railing and because of the snow on the ground she did not see gaps between the pier and a neighboring area of the pier that is closed to the public, causing her to fall into the Hudson River ....
