विदेशों की तर्ज पर भारत में भी अलग-अलग वैक्सीनों को लेकर शोध जारी है. देश में भी वैक्सीन कॉकटेल को लेकर लगातार स्टडी हो रही है. इस बीच आईसीएमआर (ICMR) के शोध में भारतीय वैक्सीनों की मिक्सिंग के सकारात्मक नतीजे मिले हैं. यानी कोरोना के खिलाफ जंग में भारत को नई कामयाबी मिलती दिख रही है.

The active caseload in the country has further declined to 23,43,152 as active cases decrease by 76,755 in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said on Friday morning. The recovery rate in the country has climbed up to 90.34 per cent. Meanwhile, doctors from across the globe have said that with every new Covid wave, the effect of the disease might get comparatively less impactful as the community develops herd immunity.

The country's active caseload has further declined to 23,43,152, while the recovery rate increased to 90.34 per cent, as per the Union health ministry's data released on Friday morning. Amid this, the government said the second Covid-19 wave in India is on the "downswing", but also highlighted that the current number of active cases is "still very high". In a fresh directive, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), without any directions for lockdown, said the states and union territories should go for intensive and local containment measures in districts with a high number of cases to check the spread of the deadly disease.
