This morning the evacuations have been lifted but that part of highway 29 is still closed while crews are battling the flames. Contra costa county supervise say that gate to the Nustar Petroleum Storage Facility was locked with the first firefighters arrived to fight the fire. Bay commute. A little lighter than usual on some of these drives which we expect on a friday. This is a look at the westbound Richmond Bridge and traffic is moderate. If you are driving on the east shore freeway heading down to the bay bridge you will see that traffic is doing well and when you get there those not much of a delay. Its 6 00 and not much of a delay at the bay bridge which is nice. This is a look at interstate 880 and traffic is busy on westbound 92. Traffic here is also doing okay. We have a little bit of a better star. Hopefully this will last throughout the morning commute but it the sour is starting well. Lets go back to the desk. There. One is the regular commute at the bay bridge is getting busy if you are coming up on 6 00. We can go to the bay bridge and you can see that traffic is going to be busy which is very typical. I want to tell you about it anyway. Then we have to go to the far east bay to the byron area because there is a grass fire. Camino pablo. There is one way Traffic Control in the area. If you take bascom road you will see it and its going to add to your delays getting out of the byron area. If you are driving out of the tracy area you will see that traffic here is going to be okay if you are driving through. I want to mention on the Golden Gate Bridge approach, southbound 101, there is a crash just outside the Robin Williams tunnel. Southbound onetoone traffic is slow and if you are coming to the Golden Gate Bridge need to add an extra 10 or 15 minutes at least. Lets go back to the desk.
