The movement of weather systems is fast, therefore chances of further intensification are less. Cyclone forms over Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea until December. This system may not intensify into a cyclone, but it will be capable of giving moderate to heavy rain over many parts of Tamil Nadu on December 7 and 8.
Another cyclonic circulation is expected to emerge over central parts of Andaman Sea around 03-04 Nov. Like the existing one over east-central BoB, the weather system will move across the Gulf of Thailand, Arakan Coast and Northern parts of Malay Peninsula.
Between October and December cyclones usually develop over Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea. We do not anticipate any cyclonic storm either over Bay of Bengal or Arabian Sea during remaining days of November.
Low pressure is likely to move westward and cross over to the Arabian Sea on 24th Nov. It will continue to affect weather over South Peninsula on 24th & 25th Nov. Weather activity will reduce substantially on 26th Nov when the cyclonic circulation of low pressure shifts far over South-Central Arabian Sea.
A Cyclonic Circulation is expected to come up over central parts of Bay of Bengal around November 15th. The system is expected to organize further and may become a Low Pressure Area around November 17.
