NEDOC reports high volume of callers

The out-of-hours GP service is asking callers to be patient as it experiences a very busy period.
People phoning the North East Doctor on Call (NEDOC) service this afternoon are asked to be patient due to a high volume of callers.
The call centre - which also manages the Midlands Doctor on Call and the North Dublin GP Out of Hours (D-Doc) services - is currently reported as being very busy.
Callers are advised that they may experience a delay in getting through to the service.
The HSE has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
