The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported eight new cases of COVID-19 Thursday including the first case in Neyaashiinigmiing since the start of the pandemic.

Grey-Bruce’s COVID-19 count rose by a dozen cases over the weekend, and three more were added on Monday.
The new cases raise the region’s cumulative total to 476 with 31 cases currently active. The Grey Bruce Health Unit also reported 14 probable cases and 131 high-risk contacts of confirmed cases. Two of the active cases are hospitalized.
