Students and teachers in Grey-Bruce will be heading back to the classroom on Mon. Jan. 25.
The Ontario government announced late Jan. 20 afternoon that Grey-Bruce was one of seven health unit regions in the province that would be returning to in-class learning next week.

16 New Covid Cases, Four Recoveries In Grey Bruce Saturday

Public Health Grey Bruce says 16 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed Saturday (Jan 2nd) in the region and four additional recoveries.
The Town of The Blue Mountains has the most new cases at four while Huron Kinloss has two.
West Grey, Arran Elderslie, Georgian Bluffs, Hanover, Neyaashiinigmiing and Southgate all have one new case.
With four recoveries Saturday, there are now 46 confirmed active cases.
129 high risk contacts are associated with the region’s active cases.
Two people from Grey Bruce are hospitalized due to the virus.
There have been no COVID-19 deaths reported to date.
Public Health says there there are no outbreaks in schools as the one at Normanby Community School in Ayton is declared over. There are no outbreaks in childcare centres in Grey Bruce and no outbreaks in long-term care homes in the region. ....

Sixteen new cases of COVID-19 – the highest daily new case count in the region since Nov. 21 – were reported to the Grey Bruce Health Unit Saturday.
Five of the new cases were from The Blue Mountains, while four were from Huron-Kinloss and two were from West Grey. Arran-Elderslie, Georgian Bluffs, Hanover, Neyaashiinigmiing and Southgate each had one new case apiece.
