cornell university history professor or lawrence glick man describes the modern concept of free enterprise formed in the 1930s during the rise of the new. deal he s a professor of american studies in that department of history at cornell. in addition to free enterprise in 2019, he has written four other books. he writes on a regular basis for publications including the washington post though i am not sure we would call that a popular publication.
