That he was out campaigning for a republican across the nation doing press conferences and endorsements and fundraisers and dinners and things like that and everywhere he went, the police officers, the bell captains, flight attendants, citizens on the street, everybody came up to him and said, you just got to do it one more time. You have to run one more time and at that point that i think convinced him to try one more time in 1980. Wasnt going to try. That was probably it for him. There was a time when he was on the airplane and he liked to sit on the aisle so he could greet people that were coming on or meet people that were coming on the plane and this woman came on and she embraced him. She said, one more time and sitting next to him and before he passed away i interviewed me and he told me the story, he was sitting next to a Governor Reagan when a woman embraced him and he turned to mike at the time and he said, i guess i better do one more time. I guess i better go. So that was t
