When he strolled to the pitcher’s mound in the top of the 11th inning, he was the 18th player the Falcons used in the game. DeMilia delivered in both halves of the inning. He tossed a shutout inning in the top half, then he delivered a walk-off single in the bottom half, lifting Blair Oaks to a 4-3 extra-innings win against the Battle Spartans at the Falcon Athletic Complex.

The Jefferson City American Legion Post 5 Juniors posted a 3-1 record this past weekend in the Chuck Wiley Memorial Premier Event, finishing in a tie for third place out of 16 teams.
