thanks so much for joining us on the kron. 4 news at noon. i m stephanie lynn, our top story today, another deadly shooting on a major bay area. roadway leaves 2 people dead. it happened along. i-580, in oakland. take a look at this map so you can see exactly where it happened. this is on i-580, near seminary avenue in oakland by the highway. 13 interchange and mills college on the macarthur freeway. we have video from the scene to show you. chp responded just before 8.30, last night. officers telling us they originally thought this was a car crash, but they soon found bullet holes and gunshot victims inside of the car. we know several people were taken to the hospital and we re working to get more information from chp about the shooter and other cars possibly involved. now in response to all these shootings, governor newsom approved funding for new freeway cameras just last week. those cameras would be placed at locations in alameda and contra costa counties along 5.80, 80
