According to a report published last year, the generative AI market is expected to grow at 42% CAGR to reach $1.3 trillion in 2032 from $40 billion in 2022. The growth in the industry is expected to be driven by training infrastructure for large language models (LLMs) along with specialized software and services for the industry. The boom in the industry has seen several smaller players making significant investments in the technology. One such player is Cohere. Cohere's Offerings Toronto, Canada-based Cohere was founded in 2019 by Aidan Gomez, Ivan Zhang, and Nick Frosst. Prior to setting up Cohere, Aidan was one of the first few hires at Google's Toronto AI lab and had co-authored the paper "Attention Is All You Need", which is known as one of the founding principles behind artificial intelligence.
