Arrangements for SSB examination finalized at Kupwara

Kupwara: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din today convened a meeting of concerned officers to finalize the arrangements for smooth conduct of written test for the post of Class IV being held on February 27, 28 and March 01.
It was informed in the meeting that 16 examination centers have been established in the district and 250 invigilators have also been deputed for conduct of the written examination. While as, four flying squads shall also be deployed for proper inspections.
On the occasion, the DC impressed upon the concerned officers to ensure fool-proof arrangements for smooth conduct of the examination.
The DC directed the concerned for training of invigilators with Dos and Don’ts of examination process. He directed the Nodal Officer Examination and SSB Coordinators to conduct joint inspection of examination centres prior to examination to avoid any lapse in the arrangements. ....

Valediction of 32nd National Road Safety Month-2021 held across Kashmir

Srinagar: Series of activities to raise awareness among the masses with respect to road safety marked the culmination of National Road Safety Month-2021 themed ‘Sadak Suraksha Jeevan Raksha’ across all the districts of Kashmir.
On the occasion, Valediction function was held at Srinagar and at all the districts to observe the conclusion of the month long awareness drive that was kick started on 18 January, 2021.
During this period, a number of activities including debates, quiz, essay and painting competitions, distribution of pamphlets and print material, blood donation camp, fitness mela, walkathon, rallies to raise mass awareness among the drivers and the public about road safety norms besides health check up camps were conducted by the Regional Transport Authority, Kashmir and Astt. JAMMU, Jan 18: Series of activities were held across Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh to mark the beginning of National Road Safety Month.
The day witnessed inaugural functions, walkathons and awareness rallies organized by respective district administrations.
JAMMU: The 32nd National Road Safety Month was today inaugurated by Transport Commissioner, J&K Pardeep Kumar, with the flagging off a Walkathon-cum-Awareness Rally, here at Gulshan Ground.
