The Supreme Court has extended by three months the temporary medical bail granted to the former Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Nawab Malik, who was arrested in connection with a money laundering case
Malik, who was arrested in February 2022 by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with an alleged money laundering case, was granted interim bail by the Supreme Court for two months in August.
The ED had arrested the former Maharashtra minister on February 23, 2022 in a money laundering case registered over the Goawala compound property in Kurla.
