The INS Ranvir has been on cross-coast operational deployment from the Eastern Naval Command since November 2021 and was due to return to its base port shortly.

India state-controlled shipyard Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) recently hosted a keel-laying ceremony for the Indian Navy’s third Project 17A stealth guided-missile frigate.
The keel for the third Nilgiri-class unit Yard 3024 was laid at the GRSE facility in Kolkata on 5 March 2021.
