With the constant support of right-wing media, election denial groups across the country are training volunteers for the upcoming midterm elections, recruiting poll workers, poll watchers, and lawyers to target election administration positions or setting up voter intimidation operations outside of official channels, asking for volunteers to stand watch around ballot drop boxes. These organizations and volunteers pose a serious risk to the voting process by threatening to replace professional election officials with QAnon conspiracy theorists and extremists. The FBI has issued warnings about threats to election workers in multiple states, including Pennsylvania, Colorado, and Arizona.
