She sits in the integrated Domestic Violence court. Before being appointed to the bench, she spent 10 years as a prosecutor and manhattan district attorney. She is adjunct professor of law and author of a textbook, violence law, policy, and practice. She was a journalist in washington dc where she won a number of prizes.
