Just outside of the white house, protesters have turned the massive fence around Lafayette Park into a living memorial with hundreds of signs and works of art. This is all coming as former Minneapolis Police officer Derek Chauvin who has been charged with the death of george floyd made his First Court Appearance yesterday. The private funeral for george floyd will be held in his native houston today, but before he is laid to rest, thousands joined his family yesterday to pay their final respect with a public viewing in the city.
