An Iredell County county man was arrested after deputies said he sexually assaulted a student at North Iredell High School over the span of nearly three years. According to the Iredell County Sheriff s Office, a school counselor reported to police that a student said they were sexually assaulted by an acquaintance. He’s charged with six counts of felony statutory sex offense and four counts of felony statutory rape. According to information released today (January 21), on November 9, 2020, the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a school counselor at North Iredell High School in reference to a sexual assault. According to the report, a student disclosed to the counselor, they had been sexually assaulted by an acquaintance.
