public housing or support of public housing through the mayors office. it s free. we bring recreation on sight or hype local down the block kind of thing. we bring a lot of outreach. okay. next slide. it s important to acknowledge that the the charter mandate that was written in 2016 does not reference race. i would call our equity work per the charter economic equity, but a lot has changed since 2016 in our commitments and our focus, and there s now an office of racial equity embedded in the human rights commission that is focused entirely on supporting the liberation of black, indigenous, and colored people in san francisco. there s a website there, and i encourage you all to go visit it. they issued a framework, kind of a template, the end of june for every department to follow to submit a racial equity action plan, and those are due back to the office of racial equity at the end of december, which means we will be bringing ours to you at next month s commission meetin
