Retiring Grenada Elementary School teacher made a mark on her students Siskiyou Daily News After teaching at Grenada Elementary School for 25 years, Naomi Corbin will retire at the end of this school year. “I love it when you work with students and they start to understand what you are teaching them,” said Corbin, who was a Mount Shasta High School graduate and taught preschool for 10 years before getting her teaching credentials and starting at GES. “I feel like I can be a difference and can help have a solid learning foundation. I want to show them they are capable. I try to make things interesting and understandable and try to get that passion for learning instilled in them.” ....
