what is the latest on the search? good morning to you. the air search has stopped for the night. the next flight is set to depart when the sun comes up in about five hours. five aircraft have scanned the water looking for these objects. one appears to be about 15 feet across, the other much larger between 75 and 80 feet long. an education oceanographer sayi thinking he can possibly see an oil slick. the images are four days old, which means current has since moved them elsewhere. now the satellite located the objects 1500 miles south. it is in the roaring 40s because of the location along 40 degrees latitude and the seas are always so rough. today they were at nine feet, the winds 30 miles per hour and the visibility was not good, it was poor. the authorities saying it could take days to find these objects if they find them at all. they re saying that a cold front is moving into the area so they were flying quite low. i think one of them got about 100 feet above sea level
