you are in the cnn newsroom. i m alex marquardt in washington alongside kaitlan collins in tel aviv. jim acosta is off tonight. thank you very much for joining us. israel moves towards a fourth and possibly final day of its temporary truce with hamas. so much will demand on how many more hostages get released after three successful days of hostage releases. hamas says it wants to extend the pause in the fighting. a source telling cnn that israel s war cabinet is also discussing that possibility. but today it was yet another emotional day for so many families in israel. a third group of 17 hostages held inside the gaza strip since early october, they were finally freed. here are some of the early images, or images we ve just again some of those families, finally imbembracing after weekf uncertainty. a total of 17 hostages today, including three thai nationals, and these pictures that you re looking at there, those are 14 of the israeli hostages who were released from c ....

viewers joining us here in the united states and all around the world as we continue our coverage of the israel/hamas war. i m rosemary church. it is now the fourth day of a temporary truce between israel and hamas, and israel says discussions of under way after it received a list of hostages expected to be released from gaza in the hours ahead. today is set to be the final day of@greemen, but hamas says it wants to extend the pause in the fighting beyond the four-day deal. a source tells cnn israel s war cabinet also discussed that possibility sunday night. on day three of the truce, 17 hostages were freed, including israelis and foreign nationals. the group included mothers and children and ranged in age from 84 to 4 years old. other hostages released by hamas over the weekend, including this mother and daughter, have already been reunited with their families. and as part of the deal, an additional 39 palestinian prisoners and detainees were released from israeli jail ....

and i m alex marquardt in washington. next up we have the whole story with arnd cooper investigating the whole history of the running of the bulls. good night. every summer, cities across spain participate in a centuries old tradition called the running of the bulls. it began as a way to transfer bulls from the country to inside city walls, where they were either sold or used for bullfighting. the most famous bull run is in pamplona. it s part of the san fermin festival. and it has attracted tourists from all over the world since ernest hemingway popularized it in his 1926 novel, the sun also rises. but the event is not without controversy. many of the bulls who run are later killed in the bullfighting ring. animal rights groups have been calling for an end to this in spain. and it s also dangerous for the people who choose to run. cnn s david culver, went to the san fermin festival to take a a closer look k at y ththis traditionon still hols after so many centuries ....

hello and welcome to all you watching here in the united states, canada, and all around the world. i m ken brunhuber. i want to get to our continuing coverage of the israel-hamas war. it s 5:00 a.m. in atlanta, noon in gaza where the four-day truce between israel and hamas is well into its second day. in the coming hours, israel expecting hamas to release another group of israeli hostages just as it did the day before. an israeli official says 14 israelis are on today s list, according to an israeli source, several children are also on it. day one of the truce saw hamas release 13 israelis and 11 foreign nationals who were taken to tel aviv hospitals for medical evaluations. doctors describe all 13 as good and stable. as part of the deal friday, 39 prints women and minors were released from israeli prisons. israel says 42 more palestinian prisoners will be freed today. we ll have a look. this was the scene last night as the first of the freed israeli hostages arrived at ....
