He served two tours aboard uss hendersonson off the shore of vietnam from 1970 twoub 73. Has both the Communications Officer and then as combat information and intelligence officer. He then served two years on a joint chief of staff assignment in the mountain at nor rad in colorado. After leaving the navy in 1975, barry attended law school in baltimore hand a career for over 30 years as a civil Trial Attorney specializing in medical malpractice, construction cases, personal injury and civil rights cases.
