(MURFREESBORO, Tenn.) Halloween on the Murfreesboro Square will come alive with the sound of children this coming Monday evening between 3 and 5 PM. That was Thom Christy at Shacklett’s Photography describing the massive amount of trick-or-treater’s on the local square in years past.

Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Foundation to Host 11th Annual Wine Around the Square this Saturday

MURFREESBORO, Tenn.- Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Foundation has announced the 11th Annual Wine Around the Square. The event will take place on Saturday, October 22,  in the historic Downtown Square in Murfreesboro to honor Drs. Max and Mary Moss. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Foundation and the Power of Pink Fund.

11th Annual Wine Around the Square set for October 22

The 11th Annual Wine Around the Square, benefiting the Power of Pink Fund, will return to Murfreesboro this October. Funds raised at the event will provide mammography for underinsured and uninsured women in Rutherford County, including screenings, diagnostics, ultrasounds and MRIs.
The Power of Pink Fund also supports two Mobile Mammography Coaches that serve 26 counties in Middle Tennessee, as well as the Cancer Wellness Program at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford. Wine Around the Square is . ....

Friday Night LIVE Concert Series Continues into August

 
Main Street Murfreesboro will feature the band Mix Tape on the first Friday of August. The group will hit the stage in front of the historic courthouse at 6:30 on the 5th of August. Sara Calendar, executive director of Main Street Murfreesboro, told WGNS NEWS about the free concert.
Food trucks and restaurants will be open for business on the 5th, as the FREE summer concert series continues.
