COVID-19 Shutdown will be Hard on Ski Resorts
Thunder Bay – COVID-19 – The COVID-19 shutdown in Ontario includes ski resorts.
The holiday season is one of the busiest times for many resorts, and ski hills, and across Ontario it is putting operators into both frustration and financial concern.
Here in Thunder Bay both Mount Baldy and Loch Lomond will be closed under the provincial order.
In a posting on social media, Mount Baldy states, “There is no sugar coating this one…. Yes this is the exact feeling we had after the news…. After absolutely busting our tails day & night to make this season the best, safest and earliest yet we get yet another Covid blow. To all the Mount Baldy Supporters we cannot thank you enough for all of the support you have given us this year!
